I’ve been saying this for years, but in a recent article, JCK Magazine, Editor and Chief, Victoria Gomelsky, confirmed my assertion that tanzanite is in fact the new black! The article documents Gomelsky’s afternoon with Orange is the New Blacks actress, Kate Mulgrew as she selects a tanzanite cocktail ring by Takat to complete her 2014 Emmy ensemble. Other celebrities seen donning the blue beauty this season include Sarah Jessica Parker, Beyonce and Penelope Cruz.
